My PC shutting off randomly

Specs: Windows XP, CPU 3Ghz RAM504MB
My PC shuts off randomly. Sometimes it works for several hours, at times for half an hour or 5 minutes. Sometimes it does not boot for several days. Checked and found fans are working OK. No nise. No heating up the chip. RAM cards were cleaned and are seating well.. Once it is off power LED is lit. Any help

Generally, random shutdowns are either caused by overheating or a failing power supply. What is the CPU temp? Did you blow the dust out of the heatsink with compressed air?

Also blow out the power supply from both ends.

Try installing Hardware monitor/CPUID to monitor both the temperatures and the voltages in real time in the tray. Get CPUID at the link below.
