This has happened on my brand-new HP MS235 all in one, which I have been using less than one week:
When I open IE, My MSN toolbar is blank, and has been for 24 hrs. It's still there, just one long blank space. Sometimes a message appears on it: "Up-dating to the latest version. Please wait a moment." Still stays blank. I tried Control Panel>Programs&Features>MSN Toolbar>Change - did not work. If I click the blank toolbar, a drop-down appears. All the toolbars are there, incuding MSN, and all are checked. I unchecked "Lock toolbars". Did nothing . I also checked add-ons: All are "Enabled" including the one that's blank! Why is it blank??? I want it back. Pease advise on what to do! I don't want my other toolbars to go blank or disappear!
