Solved my monitor shuts off too soon.

Specs: Windows 7
With Windows XP you could choose how long before your monitor shut-off, but now that I'm running Windows 7 my monitor shuts off after only a minute or two and there seems to be no way to adjust that time. I initiated a screensaver thinking it would stop the automatic shut-off but that doesn't seem to work. I wouldn't mind seeing the screensaver instead of the shut-off. Is there any way to adjust the shut-off time in Windows 7?
