Specs: Windows XP
When I switch it on I am given 2 option f2 and f12 both take me to the phoenix securecore tiano set up but when I follow the instructions nothing happens. To be honest I'm not really sure what I am doing. lenovo575

We need EXACT messages.
"I am given 2 option f2 and f12"
What else does it say?
Does it say why it is giving you the f2 and f12 options?

Which model do you have?
"My lenovo ideapad z585"
"lenovo575"

Hi thanks
It says F 2 to enter set up and F12 to enter Multiboot menu.
F2 takes me to Phoenix Securecore Tiano Setup with the following options along the top of the screen INFORMATION CONFIGURATION SECURITY BOOT EXIT
I have gone into Boot where it has the Heading Boot priority order
1 to 6 USB FDD, ATA HDD, ATAPI CD, USB HDD, USB CD, PCI LAN:REALTEK PXE BO1 DOO
At the bottom of the screen it has an option F9 set Defaults, I ve tried all these keys but nothing happens. The model is Lenovo ideapad Z575

Going on the clues you have given, googling doesn't find anything special.

I see you have a restore partition, refer your manual.

Here is the manual, download it ( File > Save page as ) to your desktop if needed.
It is a large PDF, so wait for it to load.
