my icons are all converted to one defalt and i cannot open

Specs: Windows 7
I'm trying to use your link but unfortunately its not working. my icons have a def-alt for some reason and i cant open them, for example my icons are all using one format, e.g- windows live gallery, and i can't use Internet explorer with this format, i can change the icon to Internet explorer but unfortunately it changes all the other applications on my computer

Usually an association issue. See some of these for ideas. http://www.computing.net/cgi-bin/AT...

There is a program out there that may work too, it corrects or tries to correct file associations.


Dunno why there are so many of these out there going bad.

Text, talk, drive...CRASH.

If this works for you run MalwareBytes freebie because these lost association issues are often due to viruses. Run your AV scans too but MWB often finds and fixes what AV's miss.
