Specs: Windows 7
i need to connect to my local area connection, and for some reason it wont connect. it's been working for i dont know how long now, about a year since i've had it. and all of the sudden last night it just stopped. it says the "Network Cable unplugged", but its plugged into the main computer and it isnt loose. I use a router to get internet on my laptop. Any suggestions?

Try a different cable and if possible a different port on the router and make sure other devices have access through the router. Also check you NIC through Device Manager and look for red or yellow mark indicating hardware or driver problems. The most likely would be a bad cable or end connector though so I would try those first.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
