its probably nothing to worry about, might be windows is creating restore points, hib files, prefetch etc, how big is the drive and are you getting any messages..when did it start happening, have you run malwarebytes?

i would recommend ms security essentials, rather than any other anti virus..its free too.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

Give some numbers on how much storage is being used every day.

Some hardware specs would be good too.

first of all, turn off system restore see if you still have the problem.
I would uninstall both AV's you have tried and try avast free
Get the latest version on the top right of the page (not the download button on the left which is a paid version of Spyware doctor...some people don't look, they just click on the first download button they see)
and get it to do a bootscan on reboot, moving all it finds to the chest.

Then you may want to scan with malwarebytes
remove all it finds.

Usually a HD filling up rapidly means that you have excessive spyware and viruses on your PC.

Some HELP in posting on plus free progs and instructions Cheers
