Specs: Windows 7
why does my gpu temp go so high... when i turn it on its only atlease 50C and in about 10 min later it goes up to 80C .........

It should idle closer to the 30's or low 40's and during stress should be in the 50's or 60's. Look into your graphic cards software and see if the fan is set to automatic. Open your case and make sure the fan is running. If it is not a new card, use compressed air to blow out dust that may be clogging heat sink and/or fan. Make sure you have not inadvertently overclocked your video card without intending to or just went overboard.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

you should be able to download a app from the manufacturer to increase fans on the fly, you may also need a new driver, sometimes drivers have had issues with fan control especially nvidia.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

You could have somehow dislodged the GPU heat sink. If it is not seated flush or moves at all, remove, clean off thermal compound and replace/reseat.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
