|Open any openable ports, use compressed air can (dust off, etc) and blow air into all openings including the normal vents one at a time. Then close up and try again. ***Since This Was A Hotel and there HAS been recent problems with bed bugs, you may want to try this outside. IF you get anything that even looks like bed bugs, seal it in a plastic bag and get professional help (make the hotel pay for it). In theory putting it in a plastic bag in a freezer for 20-30min should kill anything and it SHOULD be safe for the laptop, remove from freezer AND plastic and allow it to warm on its own, then blow through again. If there, also put all clothing in a plastic bag and put in dryer on high for 10 minutes (they said this on the news, but you can verify this online).|
There are other possibilities like malware, but see how the cleaning out works for you.
