If it is new enough, take it in for service.

My guess is the power supply but it could be any part. Without some test or some swap with known good we can't tell from here. Guess it could be a temperature deal.

In a very technical sense. I'd take the hard drive out to help protect any data I wished to save. Then I'd trouble shoot it from there. I'd boot to bios and see if I had any info for more clues like power supply numbers or temperature numbers. Some have small log files to assist.

Since it takes days to start up, might try this next time. Remove ac plug and then press power button a few times. Then return ac plug and see if it starts. Still needs to be fixed.

Text, talk, drive...CRASH.

Hang up and drive @#$%^^

Sounds like either the VRAM, GPU, or the RAM has a problem. I see that you just joined the forum here, so some thing to help you to get a good answer are. The make and model of your computer, things that happened before you started having the issue, and what have you tried to resolve the issue.

I would start by re-seating the RAM. So get a screw drivers, flip your computer over and remove the RAM cover. Now take both sticks of ram out, and put just one stick of ram back into the computer.

Test from there.
