You may have disconnected the ribbon cable running to youre keyboard and mouse internaly and the cable going to your screen will be right close to the hinges on the inside of the laptop if you feel brave enough you can check for youre self if you dont take it to a small repair shop that has a good rep. check google and others for the business name and make sure they have no major complaints with BBB but if you take it apart youreself sit down and take youre time and dont pry on anything with too much force and the keyboard may come off just by removing 2 screws at the top that will be hidden under a plastic cover or may just snap out with a small flathead screwdriver it depends on who made it as to how to remove the keyboard

Easier to get into at least. Assuming you dropped the tower only (not everything), then unplug and open the case. Ground yourself by touching a water faucet or the screw on a switch plate cover (on your wall) to dissipate any static charge you may be carrying (avoid working/walking on carpet, wearing wool or acrylic knits, or anything that can build static) and proceed to inspect your system's inside. Look for loose connectors (there will be spare connectors on the power supply wires and a few other places as well), look for anything that is not securely mounted any longer, make sure memory is securely locked down, CPU heat sink is securely locked down, your hard drive and it's connectors are secure, your graphics and other expansion cards are securely mounted. If needed have someone else who knows their way around the inside help you.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
