Since my computor crashed, I managed to recover my
Lotus spreadsheet files, but are unable to open these files now

Chances are that the files are just fine, unless one of them was open at the time, and then that one may have a problem or may just have just lost any unsaved work. Try reinstalling Lotus to solve your problem. If this does not work, install Openoffice.org which is a free complete office suite that will be able to open practically any office type document and save it in either the same format or convert it into nearly any other format for easy sharing. Like me, you may find that you like it better, and for future computers you may set up, you cannot beat the price.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
