Some of the drivers that are not absolutely necessary for initial operation of Windows are not installed during Win 7 installation. This is to keep Windows install time to a minimum and to make Windows DVD size small. If you visit Windows Update, you will see the drivers listed on the update page. Sound card drivers are just one example that are not necessary for initial running of Windows. You absolutely need gfx card drivers (you must see what you are clicking on the screen), ethernet card drivers (you must be able to go online to visit Windows update and to activate Windows), monitor drivers (you must see what you are doing on the screen), etc.

Some of the drivers that are installed during Windows installation are also primitive, such as gfx card drivers. You have to obtain the latest drivers from the card manufacturer's web site.

if you are good at searching and can regularly check for driver updates then you can visit the site of Intel for the regular updates.

u can also use some driver updater app. like Driver Detective, Driver Agent or Advanced Driver Optimizer dey will get you the latest updates 4 ur drivers so u dnt hve to search them.

u can try dere trial version to see if dey show updates. I prefer Advanced driver Optimizer as with it I hve to just scan n update all my drivers in single click.
