I am on my desktop asking this question. I cannot move my mouse on my Compaq Presario Q60 with Windows 7. It's stuck. It was working fine and I had two internet explorer windows open and was flipping back and forth and then the mouse was stuck. Help!!!!

hi ann
have you tried unplugging the mouse and using the laptops touchpad to do a restart?
the only other thing i can suggest which is a bit drastic is to turn your laptop off and then back on again.
hope this helps

Chris, it's the touch mouse on my laptop - I read somewhere that I may have disabled it and need to enable it. I am now trying to figure out how to do that.

hi ann
as far as i know you can enable the touchpad in the system bios.
and i think you enter this by pressing the F10 key when you lave just switched on the pc while it is setting up.

Until you are able to fix, or while you are looking for the fix, you can plug in an external usb mouse to make it easier.
