Not much info.

If USB mouse and keyboard, make sure you plug them into the rear USB ports directly on the motherboard's rear ports, NOT front ports OR ports on USB expansion card OR connected through ANY USB hub. These other ports typically do not work until windows is fully operating and drivers are loaded for the hardware.
If wireless, try a hard wired type to get everything set up first, then try switching back. Always keep hard wired on both handy for set up purposes.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
