I have a Dell laptop, with a Logitech wireless USB Mouse. It is attached to a USB Hub. When I am working, suddenly the mouse doesn't work as normal. When I hover over the taskbar icons, the preview screens don't appear. When I click on a taskbar icon, I am asked if windows can make the requested change. I try to restart, and I cannot access that menu. I can access the shutdown menu, which, when rebooted, restores the functionality. This happens about once a day - I noticed today when it happened, as I wanted to ask this question, the keyboard did not work when I tried to google in Firefox. I can work around it, but it is very annoying. Any help or suggestions would be great.

Replace the batteries or replace the mouse. My dog is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to 99 cents a can. That's almost $7.00 in dog money.
