MGX40.DLL corrupt or absent

Specs: Windows 7
WANT TO TRANSFER currently owned Micrgrafx program - with existing files
- via usb pendrive - to new PC.
(can't use Set-up/Application CD Rom as not compatible with Windows 7).

MGX40.DLL is said to be 'absent or corrupt'.

why not run the cd in administrator mode and use the compatibility option?

If compatibility mode fails you, some programs are simply not able to run on the new generation OS. However you could simply try downloading the DLL that is missing with the hopes it's a generic library found on the other OS and simply not considered on Windows 7.

Simply find it, download it, and place it in the folder with the program you are attempting to run.

Let thee be warned, however, as mysterious DLLs can harbor many a threat to any computer. Best move the folder and program to My Documents or the like and run it without any administer rights to start with to avoid the most possible issues.
