Specs: Windows 7
Hi everyone
I have a little problem and I don't know how to fix it.
I had Win7 x64, then I installed XP x86 for no good reason. Afterthat, I erased the OS partition, instaled Win7 x64 again, but when windows is loading, it appears a message: "Earlier version of windows" or "Windows7". Can anybody help me?

You should have deleted both partitions and created new partition and quick formatted it, then installed new.
Click start orb and type msconfig when the choice msconfig.exe shows click it. Go to boot tab and see if there are more than one version of windows there. If there are, hi-lite the one you do not want and click delete and OK. That should help.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

You can use easybcd or use the ms way to edit bcd.

To Fingers.
Yes. I have deleted both partitions and made a new one, with a fresh OS.
Thanks for the tip, but in the boot tab there is a line:
Windows 7 (C:\Windows) : Current OS; Default OS
What can I do next?
Thanx.
