I want to distribute images on usb by make them read only so that they cannot be downloaded and copied. How do I do that?

You won't be able to. You simply don't let the info out to people who will copy it.

Why did it take me over a year to phone in a problem to ATT?

Anything that is visible on a computer can be copied easily. A small freebie screen capture program is all you need.

Same goes for sound and even video if you search around.

Usually when we refer to images we are referring to hard drive images.

If this is the case, Jefro's answer is the correct one.

Aha, you might well be right. I guess we more often say "pictures" when meaning the kind of images I was thinking about in #3.
