Pfs window works / 2.02
April 6, 2010 at 04:25:19
Specs: Windows 7
I love the above mentioned programme which was designed for Windows 3.1. When I upgraded to Vista and now to Windows 7 it still works but the spreadsheet programme clashes with Windows Media as they have the same file extention, furthermore, he address programme does not want to open.

Are there upgrades for PFS Window Works available?

Thank you so much in anticipation

You are probably out of luck as they went out of business in

Yeah, PFS was about all you really needed. And after fighting with Office 2007 all day, I really miss PFS's lack of bells & whistles. And, FWIW, at this point, it must be considered shareware since the original files are available here:

ftp://ftp.mirrorservice.org/sites/www.winsite.com/win95/winword/PFS_WindowWorks_V202.zip

You might try it on Win3x/9x under a VM.

I haven't heard of publisher first choice in years!

Might try running a virtual machine of Windows 3 to Windows ME. All should run that OK. Don't install the media player. That way you ought to be able to keep running the system for a few more decades.

As for windows 7 you can remove or associate files as you wish.
