How can I unlock my desktop...it keeps on freezing

Use a key and then stick it in the microwave for 60 minutes.
Just joking but I had to do it from what you provided ;-)

You have told us nothing at all about your problem. We need lots more info as we are not mind readers
1- did the PC come with Windows 7 pre-installed?
2- Do you have enough ram to run windows 7?
3- Have you tried defragging your HD?
4- is it a laptop or desktop?
5- What AV are you using?
6- How old is this PC?
7- What scans have you ran?

If you don't know how to find out this information here is a how-to:

Some HELP in posting on Computing.net plus free progs and instructions Cheers

Chances are, this is one of two easy things - you've either locked your desktop or you have "auto-arrange" turned on. Right-click on an area of your desktop where there are no icons. In the popup window, you'll see a tab that says "Arrange Icons." Move the mouse pointer over this tab, and another window will pop up. Make sure none of the arrangement options have a check mark beside them - if one does, click on it and that will uncheck it and turn if off.

If this doesn't fix it, right-click on the desktop again but this time choose the "Active Desktop" option. In the window that pops up, make sure there's no checkmark beside "Lock desktop items."
