Locating PSC 500 Utilities for Windows XP or later

Specs: Windows 7
Actually, the HP PSC 500 printer came with Windows 98 drivers and utilities and HP did have a beta version for Windows 2000 available at the same time, but never released them to production. Every version of Windows after that has included basic software that allows you to print, but no way to check ink levels or clean the print head via software.

Thanks, but it's not the *driver* everyone is looking for... the system provides a pretty good driver. It's the utilities that seem to be nowhere to be found. I appreciate your time and I'll surely follow the links, but I'm not hopeful ;)
