Locate & delete executable file string

October 7, 2011 at 21:39:31
Specs: Windows 7
I want to locate a string in an exe file and delete the file.
I need to do this using the cmd prompt.

copy, sort and type with find and findstr work with txt files but not with exe file

the reason is that i am looking for spyware files that are a random name but have this same string in the end of the file "s h i t m e n u"

If you mean real text in a program then it still should appear. Most compiled programs do not allow easy ways to find data. Try a binary explorer.
