live video feed jerky

Specs: Windows 7
Live video feeds appear to be stopping to buffer, so I don't get a smooth video from beginning to end. It has been suggested that I turn off hardware acceleration to remedy this, but that option is grayed out. What to do?

The most common cause, assuming your computer doesn't have serious performance issues, is an Internet connection that is too slow to keep up with the video feed. It can also happen with a shared Internet connection when other users are active. This forces the video to pause so it can catch up.

If that is the case the only solution is a faster Internet connection. Or solve the sharing problem.

This only happens on the newest of my 3 computers, and all of them use the same internet connection. I have tried pausing the video, but it doesn't continue to buffer. When I replay the video it is equally jerky
