limitted or no connectivity

Specs: Windows 7
My system is configured by the IP address and I have also checked the status of Windows Firewall (which is off), then also in the notification area it is showing "limited or no connectivity".
What should I do for resolving, Please help?

limited or no connectivity is usually router/modem based reboot the router see if that fixes it.
are you connecting by wifi or cable.

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....

But sometimes it shows "unidentified network access". Then what should I do?

log into the modem/router change the ip address, do the same on your computer, set the router to admit only 1 machine access, and or mac addressing if you know the mac address of your machine.

what is showing "unidentified network access"? is it win 7 or another program/process??

i hate computers!
but cant help myself....
