Do you know how to use Microsoft Office? It's practically the same thing. In fact, if you save your files using the MS Office extensions (.doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, etc), the files will be compatible with Office.

Here's the User Guide for version 5.1:
User guides for older versions are also available on that page.

Do not know much about Microsoft Office as I used it to type letters and documents. I appreciate the info regarding LibreOffice. Had previously searched for it on the internet but could not find it.

I checked my program files and found: libreoffice, writer, base, draw, impress and math. They was all separate files. In December, tried to download updates. Then, all this showed up. Did I do something wrong.

Pulled up the website you suggested and it asked what user guide to use, (ODT) or (PDF), what do I choose?

✔ Best Answer
"writer, base, draw, impress and math"

Those are all the individual components of LibreOffice. Just like Microsoft Office has Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint. They're all explained on the LibreOffice site. Pick the one you need info about from the column on the right:

"(ODT) or (PDF), what do I choose?"

ODT will open with LibreOffice Writer; PDF will open with Adobe Reader or whatever software you use for .PDF files. It's your choice.

PDF can be read by any computer as long as there is a PDF reader installed. So, PDF is more universal. In your case it probably doesn't matter one way or the other.

Hey Rider! Thank you so much for the information as your time and effort are well appreciated! As soon as I wipe off the stain I applied to my table (I left it on too long) I will download the PDF reader...
