Try re-installing the touchpad driver for your laptop model from the support section on Lenovo's website.

If that makes no difference, plug in a USB mouse & use that instead.

Are you sure that you are not resting your wrist on the touchpad whilst typing?

✔ Best Answer
When doing a lot of typing use a mouse or mini mouse and disable the touch pad. The touchpad is good when portable is needed but for stationary work the mouse is better. Your thumbs are probably lightly brushing the touchpad and moving the pointer.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
