Specs: Windows 7, 2.20 gigahertz Intel Core2 Duo
I recently installed IE10 from Windows updates but when I try to launch it, a popup is displayed stating An error has occurred .... I have four browsers installed Chrome, Firefox, Dragon, IE10.

I have going through Microsoft's troubleshooting procedures including disabling all plugs or extensions, deleting the cache and history, resetting the security setting back to default, and running fixit programs. IE9 works fine.

Did you try running the Reset from:

Control Panel > Internet Options > Advanced > Reset button?

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Open Internet Properties from Control Panel and switch to Advanced tab. check Use Software rather than GPU for video acceleration. Restart your computer. This GPU accel is new in IE10.
