Laptop wired mouse cursor jumping problem

Lenovo B560 notebook
September 5, 2011 at 10:19:15
Specs: Windows 7 service pk 2, 3gb
I am using a wired mouse. When I try to type the curser jumps in between words that I have typed. The curser jumps to the top of page and all over the place.
I am using windows 7 with 64bt. Also using AVG pro, I had this problem with my old laptop.
My laptop is a Lenovo.
I have updated mouse driver. I slowed the mouse trail to very slow then ticked the box, then rebooted, all to no avail.

"I had this problem with my old laptop."

Then it is a common issue. What is common, the mouse? Get a new mouse or disable the touchpad if you can in the laptop.

Also 64-bit Win 7. Logitech mouse with Windows driver.
"Hide pointer while typing" is checked in my mouse settings.
I don't recall changing it, so it is likely the default setting.
However, I am typing right now and the pointer calmly sits
where I put it, whether I place it over this text input box or
anywhere else.

Fourangels, does the problem happen in all programs or
only those controlled by "Internet Options" ?

My mouse curser jumps in all programs that I type in.
I have just hid my mouse, then I will reboot laptop.
