Solved Laptop screen on Plasma TV

Specs: Windoze 7 64bit, Intel i5 3.00 Ghz 8 Gigs RAM
Windows 7 64bit

Recently I put my laptop screen on my 51" plasma. Nice picture, BUT the edges have been pushed off-screen. Both are set at 1920 by 1080.

How do I view the full screen? Task bar is barely visible, icons (arranged around the edges) are no longer in full view, even the start button is barely perceptable at the EXREME lower left.

Embrace paranoia, they ARE out to get you!

If you connect your Laptop to your TV via HDMI cable, it should automatically use the correct resolution of the plasma TV.
If you configure the TV screen resolution manually, you get, what you've configured, to small or to big.

I bet, the default (best) screen resolution of your Laptop differ to the best TV resolution.

SOLVED It wasn't in the laptop settings, rather the TV settings at fault.
