Laptop requesting boot device

August 25, 2011 at 05:39:30
Specs: Windows 7, i3/2gb
After trying to load optus prepaid mobile broadband on my laptop which I had been using ADSL2 wireless broadband on successfully my laptop now wants a boot disk and I can't get past this request. The prepaid mobile did not fully load and after an hour or more the only way I could close down or get out of the stuck program was to remove the usb and turn the laptop off.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Did you ever think of contacting The prepaid mobile tech support as you have paid for their product?

I did think of that, but on past experience with Optus internet issues, found the ESL operators difficult to understand and deal with, so was trying to avoid this.

I know what you mean, but in some cases you can DEMAND an american or canadian operator....certain companies.
