Hit Control+Alt+Delete twice on your keyboard. If I remember correctly, this should give you instead typing bars for both username and password.

I know this works on XP, and forgive me if it doesn't work here, but you should be able to type "Administrator" in the username box, minus the quotes, and leave the password field blank. This should let you log in and change your password.

Password help is not available on this forum due to the difficulty in proving ownership. You are advised to contact Toshiba for help and be prepared to prove ownership.

Check for cap lock button.

It may be that your keyboard is faulty also and is not typing the correct letters.
