Specs: Windows 7
The 'L' key appears to be 'de-activated' in Windows 7. As my password contains the letter 'L' I cannot log on. When using the on-screen keyboard instead of the physical one the 'L' key does not register either so it is not the physical keyboard that is defect. Any suggestions to what I have accidentally done ?

OSK sometimes needs to to re-click on the password space to then enter keys.

It would be weird but if OSK and the keyboard both lost l then the OS would have a very odd bug in it. I doubt you could do that by a mechanical problem with both. OSK is independent of the hardware.
