Specs: Windows 7
Here is one for you guys,
i have a old fujitsu siemens laptop 6800.
it was working perfectly with win 7, so i decided to take out the hdd to replace it with a smaller one.
now the laptop does not reconise the hdd even if i put back the original one.
in the bios it says hard disk none.

Are you looking if the BIOS is recognizing it?
Try replacing the signal cable, there may have been some damage then removing it or moving out the the way while installing the hard drive.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
