Laptop buttons randomly pressed while playing freecell

September 1, 2014 at 15:36:45
Specs: Windows 7
My boyfriend randomly pressed some buttons on my laptop while I was playing FreeCell. Now the cards, on that game only, are huge even when minimized. How do I get them back to their normal size?

There may be options within freecell that let you set the size of the cards and the game screen. Can you see the menu bar for freecell; and if so have you had hunt among the assorted (albeit few, as I recall) menus there?

I have looked all over from the freecell game itself. What options are available do not include changing the size of the cards. Even minimized they are huge!

You can try system restore. It should work.

Restore it to the day before your boyfriend poked fun at your computer.

Probably won't work but try holding the Ctrl key down while rotating the mouse wheel.

Always pop back and let us know the outcome - thanks

Look at this, it might be the clue that you need to reverse the problem:

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Thanks for your reply. It isn't a large deck issue. I tried that right away.

Great suggestion. I successfully completed a system restore but the cards are still huge.

Ctrl scroll didn't work either. ARGH!! It must be something simple!

Odd that the system restore or the link by Fingers didn't fix it. I found this:

http://www.askvg.com/enable-hidden-...

which adds some options to the freecell menu. You can download the already-modified file toward the bottom of the page. Maybe you can make the changes through that. Or perhaps just replacing the file will revert the settings.

Don't forget to preorder your Hatch green chili for this fall. Many vendors ship world-wide.
