Some useful details would be helpful…

Make and model of computer and is is laptop or desktop?

Is the keyboard an external keyboard; is it a blu tooth device?

If an external keyboard into a desktop system is it connected to the correct socket and the mouse likewise; check that those two are not in each other's socket?

If a laptop do you have an external keyboard to test with; as in - plug it into your laptop and see if things improve?

Are you sure it's the keyboard and not your system that's freezing?

Our friend has two posts running on this one (I think); this is the other one?

http://www.computing.net/answers/wi...

Presuming they are both aout the same problem, perhaps a moderator can delete one orother or otherwise merge the two?

How odd... The link in post 3 is no-longer the correct one... - which was to telus's other post which appeared to be referring to the same problem...? I did check the link I included in post 3 "was "the correct" link at the time... So why it no-longer is?
