Specs: Windows 7
run time library run time error Microsoft visual c + R 6034 cannot download itunes tried several times keep getting the same message

Possibly remove/un-install current version of iTunes; reboot and then re-install the latest version - would be my first approach…

And if it doesn't resolve it… have a good read of this link. It appears that Apple have released an update or similar that has created the problem...

Rather than running the download choose "Save File" instead. You can then install by double clicking the saved file (note its name and where it puts it).

This is a good way to handle downloads because it divides the download and the install into two quite separate steps. If it fails you know which one it is failing on, which will help you/us towards a remedy. It also installs without your browser running at the same time, which is best.
