Is 56K external USB modem compatible with W7?

Specs: Windows 7 Profesional
Was using Windows Vista.Upgraded to Windows 7 Profesional and I can no longer access internet with my modem. When I plug it it gives error message that the usb connected cannot be recognised.

The modem I have is
Duxbury External USB 56K V92 Modem model LIS56000USBV92.

You need to know two issues. Which bit version of windows, 32 or 64. Then you need to know if there are drivers for XP or abive for that version for that modem.

Go to the duxbury site for the drivers. They have to match the bit version.
