internet explorer wont start

Specs: Windows 7
Explorer will no longer open - message iexplore.exe- Application error
The application was unable to start correctly (Oxc0000005) click to close the application.
Windows home 7 premium Hp p62065uk
I am able to get onto web and email via Firefox but not BTyahoo (my normal homepage) or Internet Explorer

Apply both suggestions.

As you can't open IE to get to Internet Options, in order to do the reset go via the Control Panel instead.

You might have something in mind but the poster was referring to Internet Explorer and iexplore.exe fits with that. Interesting that it is the same error code and of-course IE is nicely tangled up with the Windows system.
