Internet Explorer Not Responding

Specs: Windows 7, 2.133 GHz / 2047 MB
I have windows 7 ultimate.

The problem is when I do a search windows internet explorer is very very slow and in the end freezes up saying "NOT RESPONDING"

I have done virus check and cleared out all past history.

You tube also very very slow in loading.

Isolate the problem & try another browser.

open Start, type Internet Explorer, open IE without add-ons and see if it's different.

Run Malwarebytes to check for an infection that might have missed your antivirus program.
Check your Add-ons and remove what you do not need.
Do a general disk clean up.
Try Firefox, you might like it better, but it will help evaluate the problem even if you eventually stay with Internet Explorer.
IF you still have IE8, upgrade to IE9.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

I have tried Malware bytes but found nothing.

This morning I was able to get IE back to normal after I did a reset on my modem and router.

For now I am ok.
