Specs: Windows 7, 5.4 GHz / 2009 MB
My Internet Explorer 9 has been crashing all the time. It only opens up google. When i open any other website it gives me the error INTERNET EXPLORER HAS STOPPED WORKING AND NEEDS TO BE CLOSED. it works fine on vista. I have tried reinstalling and removing it. I even reinstalled my windows updated all the way still the same issue on Windows 7.

Try a restore point.

Look at event viewer logs.

I'd consider a clean re-install of the OS and apps.

Could be malware too.

1/3 of highway deaths are caused by drunks. The rest are by people who can't drive any better than a drunk.

I told you already i did a clean install. I restored back to a previous backup when it was working and i updated it to latest version it kept working alright for sometime but after i installed all the windows updates it crashed again. Then what i did is i uninstalled every update that i had done after it started crashing but still it didn't come back. Can iTunes be the cause of it? Because Disk Aid, Touch Copy, Internet Download Manager & iTunes are the only new softwares that i installed. The issue is it never causes problem in vista just windows 7.

Itunes is notorious, you do not need disk aid, try uninstalling the items you have installed, the fact that you can access google but nothing else is reather odd, try creating a new account, see if it has the same issues.

I have solved the problem. I just had to go to Internet options -- advanced tab-- then unchecked the first option Use software rendering under ACCELERATED GRAPHICS. That's all.

Yeah i thought i should tell here because i could not find any solution all over google for this issue. The reset didn't work. Addons also didn't I guess i had updated my graphic drivers and installed direct x11 that had caused some issue. But i really hate internet explorer 9. Wasted so much time to fix it.
