Specs: Windows 7
I need to uninstall internet explorer 9 and 10 and install internet 8. I am taking an on-line course and the aplet is having problems with internet 9 and 10. I am getting behind. When I attempt to install 8, the computer states it is unable to install. I believe it is due to having 9 and 10 on my system. I am unable to find the programs to uninstall through my control panel.

✔ Best Answer
To uninstall existing IE versions (except the original one), go to
Control Panel >> Programs & Features

Then click "View installed updates"

Look for "Windows Internet Explorer 10", right-click > uninstall.
After uninstall, restart Windows.

Now go to Programs & Features again.
Click "View installed updates", this time look for "Windows Internet Explorer 9".
Right-click > Uninstall.

After uninstall, restart Windows.
Your Internet Explorer should now be back at the original version you started with.
