Specs: Windows 7
Explorer 10 is so screwed up. I tried to restore my computer to an earlier date - but couldn't get it in safe mode. I have windows 7 64 bit. I ended up installing Mozilla Firefox as browser but want Explorer 10 OFF the computer.

✔ Best Answer
Go to Control Panel> programs and features. Enable "view installed updates" and then click on Internet Explorer 10. Choose to remove/delete. This will automatically roll your computer back to the previously installed version.

Go to Control Panel/Programs and click View installed Windows Updates. In the list of Updates, you will see Windows Internet Explorer 10. Click it and then click Uninstall.

Keeping IE 10 installed does not hurt but it is up to you to uninstall it. The previous version of IE will replace it.

You should know you cannot uninstall IE completely. But you can disable it. While you are in Control Panel/Programs, click Turn on or off Windows features and remove the checkmark besides Internet Explorer 10 or 9 or 8, whatever version you have.

Hope this helps.
