I want to download and install (D-n-I) Content Manager for above GPS device that I use in my vehicle. This program can be D-n-I from www.magellangps.com/content-manager-software-for-windows. This program helps to update GPS software, update maps etc. from time to time.

It did not install correctly because of Compatibility Settings set on my Acer Aspire 5738-6969 laptop preinstalled with Windows 7 and updated with SP1.

During a Chat session with Magellan customer service agent, I was told by him that Content Manager runs with Win XP SP2, SP3 and Win Vista successfully.

Since this program could not be installed on my laptop. How can I run Compatibility Troubleshooter in Windows 7 SP1? And how can I change the compatibility settings manually?

Right click on the application. Select Troubleshoot Compatibility (usually fourth one down, below Run as Administrator. It will say Troubleshooting Compatibility... for a while. When a menu appears saying either Try Recommended Settings or Troubleshoot Program, select Troubleshoot. Next, check the box that says The Program Worked in Earlier Versions of Windows... And select Either Vista SP2 or XP SP3. I would try Vista first, as it might allow more features, but if that doesn't work, just use XP SP3.
