Installed Win 7 in place of corrupted Win XP

hi all!!
i had xp installed on my pc but it got corrupted and i installed windows7 in place of it.my sonud driver was of cmedia but now after installing windows 7 my sound is not working and i am not finding a perfect sound driver for my system.please help

U decided to install win 7 without checking the driver availability?What is your mobo name & model?If u have vista driver use it.Do u have win xp audio driver?

Although, your problem is audio related, you need to add more RAM to your machine to adequately take advantage of Windows 7.

And for your Intel 82801 AC '97 Audio Controller, try this driver.

i thought that windows 7 drivers would be accepted by the machine..my ram is 1.12gb and my processor is P4

Try as above the audio driver noted or your motherboard drivers AND install additional RAM if your board allows (windows 7 does need more RAM, 2 GIG for 32bit)
as an alternate, buy a cheep audio card for 10.00 - 15.00 with uptodate drivers
