installed a game now pc wont boot

Specs: Windows Vista
my pc wont boot up even in safe mode.
i installed aoe the age of kings and after a while my pc froze so i restarted it and then it came up with "repair" so i pressed that and all it does is go to a blank blue window with lines on and my mouse curser.
i have tryed many things to sort it but none seem to work

tryed safe mode and safe mode with networking and boot up from last place it was working and fix computer and upload bugging

It would help if you detailed what steps you had taken so that helpers don't go over things you have already done. More detail is what is needed!

Boot to the windows dvd and do a restore point or repair.

If you made a Windows 7 Repair Disk when the machine was new, you can use that (boot to it) and do a repair/system restore which can access your system's restore point and return the system to how it was before you tried the install.
A Repair Disk is an important tool for repair and recovery with Windows 7 and everyone should make one. Fortunately, if you have not made one, you still can make one from another Windows 7 machine as long as it is the same type (32bit or 64bit).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
