Solved Installation softward for Digitrex 3000 camera

Specs: Windows 7
I cannot find the installation CD to connect my Digitrex DSC 3000 camera to my PC which is running a Version 7 OS.

I think that camera was for XP originally. Have you tried plugging the camera in to see if Windows 7 finds new hardware on its own? It might pick up a suitable driver in Win 7's database. User software other than the driver is not essential.

Apparently digitrex was part of apex but apex either went out of business and someone bought the name or was restructured as the current apex site gives no hint of anything digitrex. There is a digitrex site:

but it doesn't list that model. In any case, even if windows 7 can't find drivers an SD card in the camera should be seen as a drive in 'my computer' and you can move pictures from the camera to the PC that way. If you're using the camera's internal memory--instead of an sd card--it likely won't show in 'my computer' and you won't be able to move the pictures.

Or maybe it's time for a newer camera. It's only a 3.2 mp camera. $10 will get you something better on ebay.
