Specs: Windows 7
I'm running Wins 7 and when I try to install a new program from a cd, it loads up & starts & then just goes away. Any idea of what is wrong & how I fix this. Thank you

Thanks everyone I figured it out. The CD was for my xerox printer. I needed to adjust my Wins7 installer. Actually I adjusted the .exe file on the cd under properties tab then compatibility tab to work with wins XP since I had that version previously. Perseverance pays off. Thanks for all the help

Since there are thousands of programs out there, all behaving differently. Without knowing what program, no.

What are you doing to install the program? Are you getting an auto-run dialog box where you actually have install options? Are you running a setup.exe file from the disk? A little more detail would help.

Is the program meant to run on Windows 7? Do you have a 32bit or 64 bit operating system and is the program compatable with 32 or 64 bit?

Why didn't you just go to Xerox's website and download the proper software/drivers for your operating system?
