You might be able to increase the amount of dedicated memory by changing a setting in the BIOS. How much you can dedicate usually depends on how much system memory you have installed. It's generally adjusted with choices like 64, 128, 256, etc. You'll have to poke around in the BIOS & see if you can find it.

If you are even thinking about increasing the memory for the integrated graphics then you should be thinking about adding a video card (assuming this is a desktop machine). If you are looking to run games or run graphics intensive programs then the answer will be a dedicated graphics card. For most desktop machines this is not too difficult but post your machine details and the games or programs you plan to run for a recommendation. For a laptop unfortunately, you will have to purchase one (a new laptop) that already has the upgraded graphics installed at the factory. On HP's site you can configure many of their laptops with the upgrades exactly where you need them and they will make it for you. I do not know if others offer this feature but most offer different levels of machines including gaming designed machines.

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.
