In about 3 minutes of none use, may password page pops up.

Specs: Windows 7, 36 gb
About 3 minutes windows of no movement on page, it resets back to my regular startup password page, which I find very annoying. As a example, I may be looking at the ESPN MLB SCORES, and if I change to any other page for a second and come right back, it will not go to my password page, unless I stay on more than about 3 minutes.

Thank You

I assume that you have a screen saver set up with a password and the time to activate is short.
Either lengthen the time for it to activate or make it never activate by itself (you can always activate the screen saver manually by right clicking your desktop and selecting it).

You have to be a little bit crazy to keep you from going insane.

Is this an enterprise windows version, connected to a (company) domain?
This Win10 solution also works for Win7 and possibly for you:

I am using Windows 7 Professional. Some where it is timing it self out in about 3 minutes. When it goes back to the start up password page, I have a password that I must put in, and when I put in my password, I am right back to the page I was on before. Thank You.

I think you will go in screen lock state.
Have you tried this setting?

This is not a Enterprise Edition, have no screensaver, and this nightmare started 2-3 weeks ago, with no added software, and ran perfect for the last 5 1/2 years. Of note this computer was rated in the top 5 computers a couple of years ago, of which it in the top 5 in the country on bench marking, others beat me with top of the line graphic card,
but my CPU was able to say solid at 5.2 on air. Had offered $1000. to anyone that could find water within 15', for they had called "BS" on air cooling, which will only work in the northern states, as I developed it .
of the computer.
Thank You.

No, as I back up every 10-20 days, and made the goof of not taking the 500 G SSD and using it to backup over the troubled drive, which when I think of it now I did a dumb dumb.
Thank you.

System Restore is not the same as back up. Windows 7 has System Restore turned on by default so it may still be turned on. When you run System Restore to a prior restore point, it returns your system (system files, registry, setting, etc) to the prior date but does not change any personal files. The worst that might happen is if you recently installed a program or update, that will need to be done again. If it is active, it is worth trying in your case.

**For those responding who think this is about a password recovery issue, please read it all again, it has nothing to do with that.**

So you got an FX 9590 roomheater 220watt @1.5v / 5.2GHz?
Shame on AMD for using horrible instructions per clock to get frequency up.
Tho intel did the same with the pentium 4 i believe

or did you get a lucky 3770k/4770k?
